Hey Scotty on my 1992 Mitsubishi Galant r12, I have a red cap (port) that’s near the radiator and black cap (port) that’s connected to the compressor. I was wondering which side is the low side to add r12 Freon. And also when I first turn on my ac I hear a rumbling/grumbling noise only on first start, it also drags a lot of power making my car vibrate.

Well the low side is always the fatter line and the high side is the skinny line and it should only have fittings that work one way anyway generally the ad side is closer to the evaporator in the dash
