Radiator Fan Not Cutting On - Help!

Topic starter

My daughters car which is a 1995 Honda Civic LX Sedan 1.5L a/t with 212k miles. Everything checks good; New thermostat, theromswitch (ECTS),All good fuses & relays plus probed wires and all grounds are good. I even took out the heater/ac control unit out of dash and took it apart and to my surprise there was over 25 "COLD" solder joints on the circuit board - WOW!!! Yes, I resoldered all the joints on the circuit board and put it back in. All controls work now. But, My stumped problem is the radiator cooling fan still doesn't cut on... The thermostat fan switch was purchased at O'Reilly's but somebody told me some after market switches are junk and I need to use OEM Honda switch for it work. So, Should I get a Honda switch and swap it out or what? Cooling system has been bled and burped too plus has one hell of a heater. Also, I did jump the switch connector and the fan kicks on plus I even tested fan out of circuit and it works - Any ideas would be greatly honored. Thanks p/s: Love your videos Scotty 👍 p/s/s: No codes nor CEL on.

Test the fan switch, if it is fine, then odds are that the ECU is faulty, you may use a toggle switch for the cooling fans.
