Hey guys idk if my post went up so I'm try again should the gasket on a brank new oil filter pull right off I got a new stp filter and it came right off when I pulled on it shouldn't it be glued to the filter

The gasket should be trapped in a groove in the filter. I've never seen glue. When you install the filter, the gasket gets squished up against the mounting surface, so it shouldn't go anywhere.
I just checked my old oil filter. The gasket just sits in the groove. No glue. Pulled out easily.
