Ram 1500 stops when turning with 4*4 active

I have an '07 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi 4*4 automatic tranny with 250K miles. I bought it 3 years ago with 235K miles. The truck runs great and the 4*4 works. But, there are 2 things that bother me and I can't figure them out.

1. When in 4*4, the truck shudders some while driving, but bearable. Putting it back in 2*4, it goes away after a few seconds of driving.

2. When turning into a parking or tight turn (left or right) with 4*4 active, the truck stops, like the brakes are grabbing hard. If you press on the gas hard, you feel it strain. Making a wide turn, for example, left at an intersection, it feels ok.

Anyone experience this or know what it could be? {black}:scared:

Thanks!

4×4 isn't meant for paved roads. You're binding up your drivetrain and are seriously risking breaking something (gear teeth, transfer case chains, driveshaft U-joints..., very expensive stuff). Stop using it on paved surfaces. It's for driving off road or in snow, only. The wheels need to slip when you turn to not destroy the drivetrain. Dirt, snow and mud let them slip. Dry asphalt does not.
