Have a 2013 Honda Accord (almost 98k miles), there is a rattle like noise which sounds like it comes from the motor for around 2 seconds at startup, not every start up but after every 4 hours of the car sitting.

The first thing is to check the oil level,
Do this on level ground when the engine is cold,
Secondly make sure your using the correct oil viscosity for your cars engine
This could be 0W-20 or a 5W-30 oil depending on the vehicle,
Lastly you could have your oil and oil filter changed if none of the above work.

Recently got the oil changed, has no leaks, used 0w-20 and replaced oil filter. Noise is still there
Check your exhaust & exhaust plumbing for any leaks. Also check for any loose bolts around the engine bay.
