- 2010 5.7 tundra with of course the 6 speed auto and 4 wheel drive. Bought it at 196,000 miles and currently at 202,000. It shifts hard at times but sometimes it shifts nice and smooth. Also when I shift into reverse, it takes about 2 seconds. I’m very gentle with the trans, I wait for it to fully shift before letting off the brake and such. Should I take it to a shop and have the system flushed? I have no previous records on the vehicle so I don’t know when it was last changed or if it ever was. What should I do? Thank Scotty!
