2005 Monte Carlo LS 3.4L, automatic, 136k miles. Every other day when Im parked idling there is a rattling noise coming from the rear for couple seconds and there is no change in RPM. Fuel pump going out?

Do you have any issue in the acceleration or in higher rpms?

No everything works normal
It seems the fuel pump is fine. To double check, pressure test the fuel pump.
