Scotty, I have this rattling noise coming from my 1998 Tacoma (176k miles) every time I accelerate. It usually starts @ 1-2 rpms and then goes away. I’ve look everywhere for any solutions but can’t find any. Ive also noticed other Tacoma owners going through the same thing. Please help me and guide me in the right direction.

Catalytic converter heat shield would be a prime suspect, as would be broken pieces inside the converter.
