- Hi. I have a 2014 rav 4 le and if you hit the lock button on the remote 3 times it will try to start but not start. No check engine lights.

Does it start normally when you get inside the car & start it manually like any regular car?
If yes, start by checking your under-hood pin switch. If you cannot start it manually, you have other, more important problems.
If it’s not the under-hood pin switch, you may need a dealer level scan tool to figure it out.
