Hi Scotty and friends. What gear should I select on a 2021 Rav4 XLE to tow a Jetski with a 950 lbs GTW. On most vehicles it is recommend to turn off overdrive when towing so should I switch to S4, S5 or S6. I am not sure what these equate to in an eight speed transmission. 'D' mode is probably fine. But if the transmission starts shifting too much then lock it into a speed.
Thank you for such a quick response. I am getting ready to head out this morning and was really worried about messing it up.
