Rear Park Aid

Hey Scotty, I have a 09 F150 king Ranch that I bought used, it has 181,000 miles now and has been a good truck so far. When i got the truck the rear park aid wouldn’t work. I replaced all the sensors in the bumper and replaced the module up around the steering column that actually makes a noise i guess when it detects you getting close to something. It still doesn’t work, its not a big deal i just like to keep everything working as it should. Im kind of OCD about things like that lol. Do those have to be reprogrammed or something or activated with a scan tool or something? Just wondering, thanks for the videos, live them!!

It most likely needs to be programmed to accept the sensors, which requires a very high level scan tool. Best to pay a mechanic who knows about electronics do the job.
