I just bought a 2002 Park Avenue with 125K miles for 2500. Is this a reliable vehicle and was this a good price for the car?

It was in 2002. What are your expectations 22 years later?
At that price though if it runs and drives OK and passes inspection by a mechanic it's hard to go far wrong. Even if the car lasted you only a year or two you'd still be ahead of the game.
