Rebadges You Would And Wouldn’t Buy

Sometimes vehicle companies make cars for other car companies. Call it a rebadged. Or Badge Engineering.

For example, Like the Toyota Matrix and the Pontiac Vibe

What are some rebadged vehicles you would potentially get?

What are some rebadged vehicles you would definitely avoid?

-I don't know a lot of rebrands so here are the few I know, pontiac vibe is indeed a good choice. Any toyota rebranded as something else probably is, and you might save money since it's not the toyota badge.

-Toyota supra 5th generation is a rebranded BMW Z4, I'd wait a bit to see how it holds up after a couple of years, but germans do know how to make engines, and I've heard it handles way better than the Z4.

-Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ / Scion FRS is all the same thing, except maybe slightly different interiors like radio buttons or something. They are all basically a Subaru (Toyota owns a part of subaru and Scion was created by Toyota). Decent sporty cars, maybe not so easy to work on as a miata but at least they are not turbocharged. But that's if you want a sports car.

All things considered, my answer might not be as good as @Mod_Man 😉

I like Honda's. But I am super skeptical of the GM partnership.  Honda collaborated with Rover back in the 80's, probably the only Rover I would get.

Scion. So it’s most likely a Toyota which is the same company. Or it could be a rebadged Mazda.
