Replacement Car for 2010 Lexus GS350

The greatest car I have ever owned, a 2010 Lexus GS350, has 170k miles.  Even though it could last another 5 years and another 80K miles and has no problems whatsoever, I am considering replacing it with a new car.   I love the 6 cylinder engine and RWD.

As an empty nester, I have no need for a crossover or SUV or even a sedan.  I am thinking about the 2021 Mercedes E450 2-door coupe.  I welcome your thoughts on this car or other alternative cars.  Fortunately, cost is not a major consideration for me.

First, I'd check out the Used Car Buying Guide:

For all responders: OP wants to keep the vehicle for at least 10 years and put >150,000 miles on it.

Even with money, it’s not a good idea to buy any German vehicle;  just lease it.  That being said, what are you looking to get out of your next vehicle?  How long do you want to keep it for and how many miles do you hope it can rack up?  It seems you are not in need of a car and wanting a ‘fun’ luxurious car - do I have that right?  If so, I recommend the Lexus LC500 with the NA V8, which will be the last of its kind.

My plan is to keep the car 10+ years and at least 150k miles.  Fortunately, I do not need financing.

Then any German car is out of the question. Even though money may not be an issue, who wants to go to the dealer for repairs? It’s best to minimize that.

If thats the case I'd stick with the Toyota Camry/Avalon Lexus ES/GS you could get a pretty good deal on the last two as well though money isn't a concern. You aren't getting 150k miles or even 80k trouble free miles out of a Mercedes E-class it just isn't going to happen. 7 8 years MAX.
