Buying Rebuilt Title opinions

Guys, I found an 05 Toyota Sequoia with 190k miles on it that has a rebuilt title. The dealer is asking for 3700 and told me the damage was in the front and the radiator support has been fixed. Should I find a mechanic to check it out or should I just walk away?

Also, what are y'alls opinions on salvage or rebuilt titles?

I would check the Carfax report to see how many owners this car had and how long they kept the car. If the car was sold couple of times over the course of a year or two, there is at least a serious issue and I would pass on the car. If not, I would take the car to my own mechanic to check it out.

Walk away. It is worth scrap value and nothing more.

Never buy a rebuilt or salvage title car.

For that high mileage and the title I would look for something else.

Also, like GT said, Scotty answered your question in his video.

If you go to the FAQ section you could find information on Salvage title vehicles.

Just walk away. Not worth your time, who knows what else is broken.

Don't buy them unless you really know what you’re doing & are prepared to live with all their accompanying niggles.

Walk away!  Plenty of cars out there with clean titles, not worth the potential headaches that may come with rebuilt/salvage titles.
