Okay Scotty so here's what's happening on my 2003 Jeep Liberty sport 3.7 L v6 I looked into the recalls after watching your show well I have two recalls open an oem seat restraint and the trailer hitch called Chrysler and they sent me to the local dealership got a hold of the local localdealership and set up appointment the lady tells me that the trailer hitch that they're going to replace the one on my jeep with it's not rated for towing what's up with that do I have to let him replace it if nothing's wrong with mine and I mean I don't tell a lot with my Jeep but I do like till small little items any advice would be appreciate it I love your show like I really learned a lot from watching you
This sounds really strange and extremely obnoxious, even for Fiat/Chrysler/Stellantis. Why would you replace a tow hitch with one you couldn't use?
I would ask this lady at the local dealership to state this policy/decision in writing, either an email or letter. Put what you get up here, and we'll help you on this. People at dealership have been known to misrepresent information (lie). This is a new one!
Okay she said that they had to order the parts and that they would call me to set up a time for me to bring my car in and I don't really want to let him put the hitch on if I can't use it cuz I use mine for small jobs like carrying bicycles and luggage and very small trailers that's why I asked you guys and Scotty what's up with this is it sound strange to me
