Regarding device for broadcasting music
If you leave the device plugged in while the car is not being used does it drainthe battery?

Is your cigarette lighter live when the ignition is turned off? If not then no need to even think about it.
If it stays on I would expect the gadget would eventually drain the battery but would take a while. Those things don't pull much current. I left one of mine on accidentally overnight in a vehicle with an always-on cig lighter and it made no difference in starting up in the morning.
