Hello Scottie I'm coming at you from Texas I have a 2010 Buick across that about used a couple of years ago recently, within the last month or so I've I've noticed that the original ECU that was in my car was sending me random codes never the same codes at the same time I've taken it to several mechanic shops in Dallas where I used to reside and now where I'm at here And several of them have suggested that my ECU was going bad and was causing faulty codes to be sent to my dash  I've recently purchased a brand new ECU already programmed with my Vin number sent to me from a reputable manufacturer I plugged it in and now I'm getting a re learned crank shaft position sensor.  I verified that with a brand new obedient to tablet type scanner and it confirms  That I need to return the crank shop position center.. Well I'm not a mechanic I don't know where it's located and at least for my particular car it's been very very frustrating trying to locate it thru YouTube.  Also since I've been having trouble with the new ECU and my car not wanting to crank over just add a curiosity sake I popped my old ECU back into the system and my car starts up just fine yeah yes I still get random problem codes But the car runs drives everything's fineverything's fine outside of the codes constantly popping up here and there.. So I pop my new ECU back in and and I'm getting nada. Yes the accessory turns on all the lights radio everything internally and for the most part externally of the car turns on turns on but when I try to crank over the engine there's nothing . No sounds of anything trying to engage no knocking no humming humming and of course everything in the car goes dark. I really hope you can shine some light on my situation my situation I've been watching your videos for months months it's helped me replace a few things on my car as well as my ex girlfriend's car car you're very knowledgeable you're funny me please help if you can or at the very least send me somewhere where I can get the help I need thank you and God-bless

What codes were you getting with the old ECU?

Unfortunately for you that has two crankshaft position sensors. Wow left side and wanted the right side the left side is easy to get to the right side you're going to pay somebody three to $400 labor to take it all apart to get to the stupid thing. It's another stupid GM design you're going to have to get a mechanic on that one really knows the stuff pray it's not the expensive one we got to take it all apart to replace. A top notch mechanic with a high level scan tool could figure out which one it is
