What is the proper procedure to re-calibrate the computer system on a Chevy Silverado with a 6.2L gasoline engine?
Would you need a scan tool for the re-calibration procedure?
Also, what brand of scan tool would be required to do the re-calibration?

Just drive it and it will self calibrate.
better yet keep the vehicle powered up as you change the battery, and it won't lose anything at all.
