I’m looking at a 2014 Mazda CX-5 with the 2.0 and the manual transmission. Is the engine and transmission a good combo or is it better to get a 2017 with the 2.5 with the automatic transmission. The 2014 is about 10 thousand dollars less. I saw in one of your videos that there transmission at one point used to be made by a company that didn’t do a good job. Can you tell me if the 2014 mazda is a good reliable vehicle. Thank you.
Test drive it first to check if it has adequate power for your needs.
If a professional mechanic checks it out and says it’s still in good shape, I’d get it.

In this case, this is actually the best combo you get out of a Mazda SUV. Drive it first and check with a mechanic. If you both approve of the vehicle, I would get it. It doesn't hurt to reduce the price down.
