Would this car last a good 10 12 years? 100k miles?

Another option is the Yaris IA (Mazda 2). Mazda vs Nissan. Both manual.

I would go Corolla or Civic for long term reliability if that is your goal. Nissan quality is not what it used to be unfortunately. The mileage it may make (100k) but 10 to 12 years of age I don't think it would go without work.

Yeah thanks Corolla/Civic is better but they usually have high miles and too expensive and too be honest you will have another challenge finding a clean title one in clean title. Thoughts on Toyota Yaris IA/Scion IA and Mazda 3? (Mazda manuals)?

Try to find you a nice used Scion iM, I bought one last year with 35k miles, manual transmission. Not the fastest thing but handles great and is fun with the 6speed. Unfortunately they quit making them in 2016 but they continued the name as a Corolla iM.
