I have a 2015 Mazda cx5. I need to remove the plastic interior trim off the lift gate. I can't find anything clear on the internet.

I'm not 100% sure on Mazdas. But usually if you can't find any screws (and make sure you check behind any concealing trim pieces), it means that it's just snapped in. Pry gently. They do sell inexpensive trim removal tools. Usually you need to give a nice firm tug. Unfortunately, if you pull too hard, or the plastic is aged, then the clips break. It's how cars are made cheaply now and it sucks.

If it is supposed to come off, find the right spits, and pull. Usually they are snap on and off, unless they really aren’t meant to be removed.  What do you need to get to?

Something is rattling in there, so I trying to figure out what it is.
