Removing superglue

Topic starter

Hello everyone, I was trying to change my cars logo since it was about to fall and I used way too much super glue and it dripped everywhere on the back of the car (outside)

Is there a way to remove the superglue without damaging the paint?

2015 Mitsubishi lancer

Thanks!

Here's info from a manufacturer of Superglue

Reading that manufacturer's clean-up guide, the only thing I would even remotely try on car paint without testing elsewhere is the diluted white vinegar. I would not put acetone based nail polish remover on car paint. You could possibly try acetone-free nail polish remover, but don't try it on any painted part of the car you can easily see. If it were me, I would probably try it inside a door jamb, near a hinge where you won't notice, or really care if the paint gets marred.

Did you not know they make special adhesives for this kind of thing that you can get at Walmart for cheap, or even super glue gel that doesn't run? The proper adhesive won't risk destroying your paint job.

You could try some car soap and warm water. Do not use a lot of force or else you could damage the paint.

Soap and water is NOT going to do the job.
