Hello,
My friend has an 1999 renault megane 1.6e, last time when he drove his car the oil light came on, but he immediately stop the engine, aftet that he add some oil and startr the car again but now its missfireing on fourth cylinder. Is the engine ruined now?

1st: Take out the spark plugs and check for "wet tips" to confirm or rule out that oil is getting into the combustion chamber, when spark plugs are "wet" they do not deliver a spark at the required temperature so misfiring can occur.
