Hello my name is tara I don't know what to do I was recieving a battery light in my truck and sometimes it wouldn't start properly. I've replaced the alternator which allowed it to start for a few months but now the battery light comes on from time to time I've had the battery checked which is a good battery this all started after I changed my cat converter and I forgot to disconnect the battery I replaced the small wire that runs from my alternator to my red box which is grounded next to the alternator casing up top I removed and checked the long wire running to the starter and it didn't look melted so I reattached that and it still wouldn't work right so I placed a new starter and when I did this the truck started ran for 5 minutes but the alternator was making a broken bearing sound so I removed it and took it to autozone which when they tested it it sounded just as bad they gave me a new one which I placed but now when I turn my key over the truck dash lights came on but won't start then I tried again and this time no lights or anything at all I tried to then use jumper cables and start the truck that didn't work either I've checked now all fuses in the fuse box they seem fine and the starter relay was previously replaced and had worked fine before so I don't know what to do later today ill buy a voltmeter to check voltage but what could be going on?
