Replacing bumper

Topic starter

I have a 2010 corolla with 70k miles on it. The previous owner hit a coyote which was enough to break off parts of the bumper but not hurt the car structurally or mechanically. My question is how do I go about replacing it, should I buy one of these cheap ass ones off ebay or go to a shop and get it done. I was quoted for a grand with oem parts but they said they might be able to get aftermarket, what's  the way to go(

It depends. What is the difference in price? How does the rest of the car look?

It only has 70k on it, so it probably deserves a nice bumper.

I agree with Joe. You don’t want to end up with a horribly mismatched bumper.

If you can’t find a good condition matching bumper in a junkyard, buy an aftermarket bumper from (Thailand/Taiwan) and have a professional shop paint it for you, so that it matches the factory paint.

I'd just swap it with OEM parts. I'm OCD about appearance though.
