replacing lower controlarm bushings and lower balljoint in 1994 toyota t100 truck??

where should i purchase my new bushings /ball joints??should i replace the rack and pinion unit too??                          whats the best plan to do this job  myself?? me n a friend did my upper ones n it was alot of work,it seems like the lowers might be harder???

im 63 and have some experience w/cars.trucks and heavy equipt.,like cat tractors,etc.   I hope someone can spare the time to advise me on this and i greatly appreciate all who answer me

Take this job to a professional alignment mechanic.  It will have to be properly adjusted after all the suspension work and you cannot do it.  Besides, if something is wrong with the job, you'll have recourse against someone other than yourself.

Where did you purchase the parts when you did the work yourself? 

I usually go OEM/Dealer or RockAuto for parts.  RockAuto if they carry a quality part that I research is as good or better than the original at a lower price (usually a brand that is the OEM supplier to my car). OEM/Dealer if it is a vital component that is hard to find quality aftermarket.
