Me and my father want to try and get an old F350 running again as just a fun project. The truck ran when last parked about 6-10 years ago. Ive been searching for what the first steps are when trying to start and old car and ive gotten mixed answers. some people say to change all the fluids before even trying to crank the engine, others say just try and start it and go from there. What should we do? When we checked the engine oil dipstick it looked pretty rough (kinda chunky) and i dont want to screw up the engine before we even get started.
