Idle is 500 rpm or less shakes so bad water bottle in console makes waves . No SES light on. Still under warranty dealer says its normal because of the variable valve timing. If you push the gas pedal just a bit it smooths out. I can't believe they would put out a product like this. Do you have any ideas ?

That's not normal they just make them like crap these days and they don't stand by in their own stuff find a mechanic like me to check it out with live data and mode 6 data analysis there is something wrong they don't all run like that
Take the still under warranty vehicle back to the dealer and demand that they fix this abnormal situation.
Its a 2018 Chevy 1500 with 37000 miles but it has been doing it since new. Its my brothers truck he is taking it to the third dealer . I told him if they can't fix it then start a zone case with GM.
