I have a 2008 toyota wish. Every time i stop the car and gear is on drive and brakes pressed, the car starts idling very rough. I have visited 3 mechanics and they couldn't solve it yet. I have replaced all the engine and transmission mounts, replaced the fuel, oil and air filters, oil and also replaced the air flow sensor also. But nothing seems to be working. There is also a jerk still when the car is put on drive or reverse from neutral position.
Well if you take your foot off the brake and it stops that would mean the brake booster is going out. Has a vacuum we can makes the engine shake. But if not that it can be a worn torque converter inside the automatic transmission, it could be fuel injectors aren't working correctly and if they dribble too much fuel, it'll make them vibrate. It can be transmission mounts. Lots of stuff
