Hello Scotty, I own a 2006 Toyota Corolla nze. When engine is cold (just started) or in drive the engine runs fine I can even do 260 miles comfortably but when the engine gets hot and I come to a stop (after the journey) put it in neutral or park the engine starts shaking as if it is chocking then comes to a halt. When scanned no error codes are found. I now have a switch connected to the fan fuse so that when am held in traffic I just switch the fan on to cool the engine and its runs fine. The fan also works just fine, turning itself on periodically as required. I have had this problem for four years now. You are the only hope now :). {black}:tears: Please help.
Well since it works fine when you turn the fan on manually obviously you have somewhat of an overheating problem with the vehicle. It's an older car me I just run the toggle switch when it starts to get warm I would run the toggle switch to keep things cool there are so many theoretical problems that could cause that and since you have no codes pinning down exactly what causes it could cost a fortune then you put a switch on to turn that fan on and it fixes it there's your fix right there
