Hello I have a 08 Infiniti g37s 5at with approximately 131,000 miles. I recently changed the spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body. The reason I did this was to fix this push or jerk felling when I press on the gas. It also happens when I let go of the gas. I’ve been noticing it even more.
The symptoms you are mentioning are likely related to the transmission.
If so i was planning doing a drain and fill today
If it's revving up before "slamming" into gear it's likely the transmission. If that is the case, try adding some slip fixx. I would try that before a drain and fill at this point. Do make sure your fluid is at the proper level.
It shifts normal but it comes to almost 40 mph it has this feeling like it’s delayed. Let try to explain this better when I’m going up to speed getting close to 40 the car would hesitate then it let go. Then from it drives fine.
Find a good transmission shop and ask them to look at it. The one I use doesn't charge to diagnose.
Do you know what it feels like when a transmission is slipping? Hard to say, but could be that.
