Rougher Idle after Oil Change (2009 Ford Focus - Automatic)

(2009 Ford Focus - Automatic ; 46K miles)

Scotty,

I changed my oil a couple of days ago on my 2009 Ford Focus and I’ve noticed that the car seems to idle worse now. There is a more noticeable vibration when sitting in the car and it doesn’t sound as smooth either. I regularly change my oil (about every 5K miles) with a synthetic blend.

I checked the oil level and it appears to be within the deemed acceptable range on the dip stick. However, it is on the lower end of the acceptable range this go around. Should I add more oil and could this be the reason the idle is rougher? Or should I also look into replacing spark plugs, etc?

Thanks so much.

Add the correct amount of oil to get to the "full" line.
