Hello. I have a 2004 Saab 9-5 estate. Manual with about 210k miles. I am just wondering if this particular engine have a timing chain or a timing belt and if it is an interference or non-interference engine. It is a 2.0t. B205E is the engine code. Thank you

Saab 4-cylinder engines (the 2.0, 2.1, and 2.3 derived from the old Triumph slant-4 engine) have a timing chain and are interference engines. The timing chains usually last a long time as long as the oil is kept clean. (I've run Saab engines to over 300K miles with no timing chain problems.)
