I have a Ford Focus that I bought from Pick N Pull years ago. I've read that cars get salvage titles from being in accidents but do they also get that if you buy it from a junk yard? I have no plans on selling it but I do wonder would anyone actually buy it now since people are paying crazy prices for cars.
I avoid salvage titles like the plague and recommend others do as well. The definition of salvage = junk. And the car was found at a junkyard. Makes sense.
Yeah people do pay crazy prices and many don't understand what salvage cars are but sometimes I can be good sometimes I can be horrible only time will tell but you really don't want one that's been a flooded car cuz they can fall apart after a year or two from corrosion
junkyards will tend to have more salvage title cars to sell, but you'll even see salvage titled cars sold at dealerships. They go to the same auctions as dealers.

Yeah I got lucky I only had to change the spark plugs and coil packs. It won't win any beauty contests but it works.
