2002 saturn sl1 1.9l SOHC automatic transmission 108,000 miles. Runs good. Can't smog because the cluster is doing the waltz (not gittery). All guages on then off no particular rhythm. Each time I start it different Dash lights each time. Previous owner just replaced the alternator and fuel pump. Battery was below 5v. Replaced that. New Alternator was bad Replaced that. Unplugged cluster and tan wire has 6.2 oms. Others 2.5. I know nothing about electrical. Thinking of disconnecting the battery and Unplugging then plugging back in (bcm)? Any help would be appreciated 👍Â Â
Realizes cars are relatively cheaply made and odds are your dash is going out. Now do low test the alternator and the battery cuz if they're weak it could do that but if it's not that it's usually the dash going out itself
Ok I turned everything on and am getting over 14v. Charging system and battery are working fine. I will try a new cluster if I can find one. After I unplug the BCM. Thank you.Â

Chances of finding a brand new cluster for a 21-year-old Saturn are slim to none. You might want to try this site for finding used parts:
