im looking at buying an handheld scan tool for fault reading and reseting, i have engines where i have to recode a new/reconditioned injectors, would those small scanner tools you demonstrated on feb 2020 be able to code injectors, i have dephi Toughbook at work just want to get something myself for mixers, (don't like barrowing tools from work, god forbid anything broke)?cheaper option than toughbook and delphi program, mainly hgvs vans and some plant. cheers
Many will reset but as for reprogramming, a can of worms implemented by the manufactures that want year license fees to the software. Not required but you have a chance to mess things up hacking around crappy code intentionally made difficult. So a one piece software won't work for all. Any cheap notebook will be fine and you can ruggedize it yourself as needed.
