Check out the engine and make sure it does not burn oil. The 2.4 liter engine (2AZ-FE) in 2007-2009 model years seems to be oil burner and I think Toyota used the same engine in 2006 model year.

Yes the issue is for MY 2006-2013 vehicles

It is rarity to see a Scion in Europe. I would import a petrol powered Camry, since only hybrids are avaliable among new ones.

Only 90000km for a 15 years old car. Make sure odometer was not manipulated.

Good luck!

Thank you all! I will se the car on monday.

I was surprised to see scion in here, that is why I am considering purchues.

How can I make sure odometer was not manipulated? I could ask oficial toyota dealers to check VIN code...

Do you thin I can use spare parts from european celica in that car?

According to Scotty's videos dealer level scan tools can show real mileage. Idea about VIN checking is not bad. You can obtain mileage info from past technical inspections and deviation in number of owners. Low mileage older cars are usually owned by elder people who don't drive much.
