Should I buy a Scion

I am looking at a 2016 Scion Im 1.8. with 27k miles 5 speed auto. Good car?

The only problem with the IM's is the CVT Transmission in them. If it's not super expensive, go for it. Those are now rebranded as Corolla Hatchbacks, so keep them in mind as well.

They look nice, have a 14 gallon gas tank, get great fuel economy, and don't have a Toyota badge on the front. It's a win-win.

Yes, have a mechanic check it out and road test it. It is basically a Toyota Corolla, but I assume you're not in North America because here it would come with a CVT or 6 speed manual, the regular automatic should be fine.


According to photos it looks almost the same as Toyota Auris

The Scion IM and Toyota Corolla IM are "Americanized" versions of the Toyota Auris

The Scion IM is a Corolla hatchback, go ahead and buy it.
