I bought this car 3 years ago with 23,000 miles. All was fine til last year (with 51000 miles) the engine made a ticking noise. I have it worked on by 2 shops-one independent, the other the local Chrysler dealer. I went to the latter when I googled and found out this was a problem for a lot of owners, and thought THEY would have an answer. 1800 bucks later, they told me "we can't fix this." I understand NOTHING about cars, but I do remember they said it wasn't the 'lifters'. They told me this truck could keep going for some time. I'm nervous about it. Do you have any ideas? Thanks.
