Which is a more reliable vehicle. 2009 Pontiac Vibe or a 2009 Toyota Matrix?

Yes and no. The only problem child in the mix is the Matrix with a 2.4 liter 4. It was the year that more than a few came with poor oil-retention rings, and tended to burn oil. All the 1.8 liter ones, Pontiac and Toyota, were/are quite reliable.

Yes, if you ignore the oil consumption issues for the 2.4 ones.
