Scotty, do you by chance have an all-encompassing maintenance guide w/suggested intervals for any car? I've got a 2012 Toyota Tundra (4.6L) and the maintenance guide provided is not that great. Toyota dealership tried to dupe me saying it was a life... <end of title>
Basically, a preventative maintenance guide that gives an average maintenance interval covering everything. Such as oil/filter changes, transmission fluid, front & rear differential fluid, transfer case fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, radiator coolant, any other fluids, radiator hose replacement, spark plugs, water pumps, brakes, belts/chains, etc.
Maybe a guide posted or a video going over average intervals for any car. I'm sure the viewers would appreciate it. The content you provide, and your wisdom are truly a blessing. Thank you.
Simple. Just take the mileage/time recommendations from the maintenance section of your owner's manual and divide by 2.
It would be nice if they provided that, wouldn't it?
Most car companies do provide a proper maintenance schedule with reduced internals,
It's called "operation under severe conditions" in the owners manual
(or Toyotas often it's in a separate book)
But the main things you should do is engine oil (5k-7.5k), transmission fluid (30k- at most 60k).
so what are the intervals?
yes. that's exactly what OP stated in his question and prompted his post.
