Hello. Earlier today I went to unlock my 2003 Toyota Avalon XLS and I noticed the car didn't beep when I pressed the unlock button. I later noticed it was very weak, it seems to beep from near the secondary fuse/relay box on the passenger side of the engine bay but I can't find the module or thing that produces the beep. I am not sure if it even is there it just seems like it's there. I haven't really seen much about this on this car or even this problem online.
Well, the module that beeps is a relatively expensive part. I wouldn't worry about it. You better having a quiet car and then the thieves can't listen and copy or signal from your remote and steal your car later. But if you want get yourself a stethoscope and you can find where the noise is going from and then you can take that part of the Toyota dealer. But when you find out what it cost you'll probably live with the You better having a quiet car and then the thieves can't listen and copy or signal from your remote and steal your car later. Thank you 👍.
