Hi scotty recently i bought a 2020 rav4 and i saw that the oil was 0w-16, i have never seen that viscosity tbh should i look for that oil or can i put 0w-20 and what brand is the best oil to buy or recommend, rav4 has 5000k. thank you

If it calls for 0w16 I would just stick with that.

It is vitally important that you use only, … only!, 0W-16 graded oil in RAV-4, starting with year 2019. I’m pretty sure that if you decide to use different oil, if anything happens to the engine, Toyota will walk! Period.

Check your owners manual. It should say if 0W20 is okay to use or not, even thought it calls for 0W16. Some may even say to that 0W20 is okay, but replace with 0W16 ASAP.
