I got a 1992 Ford Ranger 4cyl 5spd manual . It sat for a year so we pulled the tank and also changed the fuel filter. Now it has an intermittent misfire so I switched spark plugs and bought a new coil pack. The coil pack fixed it for about 5 minutes but then it started to run bad again. Could this be a fuel pump problem since it runs on 3 out of 4? We also found a mouse nest in it.

Check all the coil pack wiring. Run some injector cleaner through it an do the Italian tune up. If that doesn't clear it up, you probably need new injectors.
