Hey Scotty, I traded in my 2014 Dodge Charger rt awd with 68,000. (It was payed off)…..for a 2020 Toyota Tundra with 13,000 on it. (I have a 30,000$ loan on it now) I did it because you say dodge are crap 💩. I will say I love the way the Toyota drives. I only hate Camrys because I’m a big guy and like my space.
Smart move, you did well especially now that the new generation Tundra no longer has the naturally aspirated V8 - the values of the last generation Tundras should go up even more. Even though it’s a Toyota, be sure to stay on top of all the maintenance intervals.

lol. That’s my jam 🙂
Yes, you made the two right choices. Getting rid of the Charger and buying the right year Toyota Tundra.
Yes
That was a very smart decision, as they said above. The new Toyota Tundra has the new V6 Twin Turbo Engine, and they’ve already been having some early problems with the turbos going out early. As you know the more pressure exposed in the cylinders the quicker they’ll wear out. So I suggest just stay very peculiar on maintenance. Also make sure you check the twin turbo’s to make sure they are in good shape (check by listening to the engine, If you hear a loud whining noise. Often means, a faulty turbocharger. It will make a loud, distinctive noise when under boost, a bit like a dentist’s drill or police siren if compressor wheel damaged. If you start to hear this noise from your engine, I’d bring it back to the dealership, and make sure they do good warranty work). Though regardless you made a very intelligent decision by switching to a Toyota Tundra, but unfortunately whenever a company comes out with a new engine design it’s best to wait a couple years to see how it holds up, before jumping into a huge loan like that. Though I pray and hope it’ll treat you good, keep us posted and good luck!
Actually, the Toyota Tundra he or she bought has a V8 not the twin turbocharged V6 which are found in 2022 and newer Tundras.
Oh, yes I’m sorry! I didn’t see the 2020 model year when I read it! I thought it traded it in for the newest one! Okay, my apologizes. Great decision on buying that truck, just make sure you stay on top of maintenance if you would like it to stay up for 300-400K miles! Good luck, let us know how it goes!
