Scotty I have a 1999 GMC Jimmy four-wheel drive automatic on the floor won't start won't come out of park but it appears as though it's not in park because I can push it back or forward If I pull up the plastic around the shifter I can engage the plastic tab that lets me shift it but it's still won't start if I put it in neutral either. what do you think this could be ?

Probably a bad neutral safety switch
