Did not work what is a harness

It's the bundle of wires (harnessed together). So instead of splicing, you could purchase a new wiring harness and replace vs repair.
I would use the service manual to check wiring but, every body has different experience and knowledge. You can give this a try and I can help, but you may be better served finding a good indy mech and just paying him. Yes, when you work on something there's always the chance to break more or make it worse... see it all the time... sometimes just can't be prevented. I am concerned that may happen here. No offense sir. In theory, the wires that got pulled apart and broken, if they are back (100% correct) and it doesn't start, troubleshooting what fried can begin (shouldn't be too much really if anything at all... triple check fuses and relays.
