Hi Scotty, I’m looking into buying a used 2016 Mazda 6 Touring. Is it a reliable car and will it last. I was looking at Toyota Camrys but settles on the Mazda 6 after further research.
Nothing wrong a Mazda6. Not quite as good as a Camry, but not a huge gap.
Toyota reliability is better than Mazda. I would not say Mazda is not good but it is not as good as Toyota.
Not even close to Camry with the same model year. If I were you, I would think twice before making a decision.

If I drive normal and not floor it. Will it last and be reliable. According to the consumers Mazda is number 1 in reliability.

Most people hear would say Mazda is not that good and not to belive Consumer REports .... It could last. They are good cars. I would put them #3 among automakers. Hey, some camry's have issues earlier than some Mazda's etc. It really depends on shape and how you use it. If you like the Mazda GO FOR IT!
If you drive it normally, it should last quite some time.
the camry's are still more reliable but the newer mazda 6's are also excellent cars could last 150k miles easily they are improving a lot.
