Hey so I’ve bought an srt8 Charger 2006 w 140k miles on body and motor rebuilt with non oem parts . Less than 100 miles on motor not even broken in yet and when I start it it makes a clacking/knocking/ rolling sound as if something came apart. It sounds like it maybe coming from a pulley or under the car .. I have a mod list with everything done to the car if that helps ..my cars in Houston Texas Rn and I live in lake Charles Louisiana.. I don’t wanna spend an arm and a leg bringing it back here and then to a shop ..if you could please help me Scotty I’ll get a tow truck to come drop it to you.. thanks so much for your time Scotty ❤️🤧
Sounds like there may be an internal problem and something wasn't buttoned up during the rebuild. Do you know what shop modified your car? If it was done in the Houston area I can tell you how their reputation for quality is.
Paying a tow to Scotty would still be cheaper than doing another build as those SRT motors are costly to rebuild.
